 coldblack®: Sun Reflector – UV Protector

Dark colors heat up stronger when exposed to direct sunlight compared to light colors. This no longer needs to happen! Now there is coldblack®, a special finishing technology for textiles which reduces heat build-up and provides reliable protection from UV rays

• Optimal protection from heating up due to sunlight
• Textiles stay cool to the touch
• Reliable protection from UV rays (minimum UPF 30)

 Greater comfort and higher performance

Due to the coldblack® finish, a large part of the infrared heat rays are reflected. When exposed to sunlight, the heat absorption can thus be significantly reduced. When applied to clothing this means that the wearer perspires less, feels better and is capable of greater performance.

We have provided size charts to help in placing your order. The tournament office does place the volunteer uniform order in September ’09 so size requests are not a guarantee. We will do our very best to accommodate your requests.

How do I purchase?

Payment Options

Pre-payment of the uniform package is required by noon on January 30, 2010. New Ambassadors accepted from the Wait List after February 27th need to purchase your uniform by noon on

March 20, 2010

You may purchase your uniform by logging into your Check List.

No refunds will be issued after March 20, 2010. Please note that the uniform charges will appear on your credit card statement as CHAMPIONS FOR EDUCATION. Champions for Education, is the non-profit organization that runs the Quail Hollow Championship.

How do I get my Uniform?

Uniforms (shirts and jackets) will be shipped to Ambassadors 3-4 weeks prior to the tournament. All packages will be shipped by Fed Fx. Paula Burnett will send out an email to everyone once the shipping process begins so you can be on the lookout.

Please note: Baseball Caps, Visors, and Straw hats will all be available for pickup at the Spring Credential Pick-Up/Uniform Exchange.

What is the Ambassador attire when working my assigned shifts?

• Ambassador Golf Shirt
• Men’s uniform should be beige/tan pants or knee length shorts
• Women’s uniform should be beige/tan pants, capris, knee length or longer shorts, skirts or skorts
• If the weather is cold or rainy, please wear your 2010 Quail Hollow Championship jacket and or a white sleeve shirt/turtle neck.
• Please plan to wear comfortable shoes. If wearing golf shoes, they must have soft spikes.
• You are expected to wear your uniform and badge on the days/shifts you are scheduled to work.
• Tattoos should be completely covered by uniform.
• You are expected to keep all parts of your uniform free of autographs.
• Please wear Patron Attire on days you are not working as an Ambassador.
• On the days you are not scheduled to work, you will still need your Ambassador badge to park for free and be admitted for free to the tournament.
• Committee Chairs and Hole Captains will be wearing White shirts with Blue and Red horizontal stripes this year. Please feel free to seek them out. They should be able to help you with any questions you may have.
